Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has issued Edict (58) of 2024, which involves the transfer of ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This decision was made following a recommendation by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and received approval from the Cabinet. According to Bahrain News Agency, the edict specifies the transfer of two ambassadors. Ambassador Abdulla Rabia Saeed, who was serving as the Head of Bahrain's Diplomatic Mission to the Republic of Sudan, and Ambassador Abdulla Faisal Jabr Al Doseri, who was the Head of Bahrain's Diplomatic Mission to the Kingdom of Belgium, are the ambassadors being transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The edict stipulates that the Minister of Foreign Affairs is responsible for implementing its provisions. The edict is effective upon its issuance and is set to be published in the Official Gazette.
