According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness conveyed the warm greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to President Trump. The Crown Prince highlighted Bahrain's commitment, led by the King, to enhance bilateral cooperation, focusing on security, trade, and investment. These efforts aim to foster international peace and promote sustainable development.
The meeting also saw the announcement of a USD 17 billion investment package from Bahrain, reflecting the trust and strong ties between the two nations. This investment is seen as a meaningful step in strengthening the economic partnership. The Crown Prince noted the positive impact of the Free Trade Agreement between the countries and the role of the United States Trade Zone in Bahrain in boosting economic cooperation.
His Royal Highness welcomed the strengthening of ties through joint agreements, such as the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA), which now includes the United Kingdom. The C-SIPA aims to advance peace, drive development and innovation, and support the normalisation of relations across the Middle East.
The Crown Prince expressed hope for other nations to join the C-SIPA framework, promoting peace and cooperation in the region. He also highlighted the importance of cooperation in peaceful nuclear power for sustainable energy transition and development.
During the meeting, recent regional and international developments were discussed. His Royal Highness emphasized Bahrain's commitment to tolerance, coexistence, and intercultural dialogue, asserting that stability is grounded in prosperity.
