Kuwait city: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, met with His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince of Kuwait, during an official visit to Kuwait. The meeting underscored the robust Bahrain-Kuwait relations, highlighting the expanding scope of cooperation between the two nations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasized the continued support from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait, in strengthening bilateral ties. His Royal Highness conveyed the greetings of His Majesty the King to the Kuwaiti Crown Prince and expressed wishes for Kuwait's continued progress and prosperity. In return, the Kuwaiti Crown Prince extended his greetings to the King of Bahrain and wished for the Kingdom's continued growth.
During the discussions, both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to deepening cooperation across various sectors, particularly in economic and investment fields, to achieve mutual aspirations and sustainable growth. They also underscored their efforts to advance the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) initiatives, in line with the visions of GCC leaders. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister reiterated Bahrain's dedication to strengthening integration among GCC member states, promoting shared objectives and common interests.
His Royal Highness praised Kuwait's role in supporting bilateral relations and emphasized a commitment to further cooperation in pursuit of shared interests. The meeting also covered various topics of common interest between the two nations.
The Kuwaiti Crown Prince welcomed HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister's visit, noting the depth and strength of the relations between Bahrain and Kuwait. A lunch banquet was held in honor of HRH's visit, attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister of Kuwait, and several senior Kuwaiti officials.
