HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister Meets Hajj and Umrah Affairs Committee

Riffa: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with Shaikh Adnan bin Abdulla Al Qattan, Undersecretary of the Court of Cassation and Chairman of the Bahrain Pilgrimage Mission, along with members of the High Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, at Riffa Palace.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness emphasised that the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa facilitate the pilgrims' affairs, ensuring that their pilgrimage is conducted safely and peacefully. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad commended HM the King's commitment to supporting Bahraini pilgrims.

His Royal Highness acknowledged the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's dedication, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, in serving Hajj pilgrims and ensuring their pilgrimage is conducted safely and peacefully.

His Royal Highness highlighted that overseeing the Hajj pilgrimage is a great honour undertaken by Saudi Arabia, noting the country's capabilities in successfully hosting the annual pilgrimage. He also commended the Supreme Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, the Bahrain Pilgrimage Mission, and other related government entities for their contributions to successfully assisting the pilgrimage.

His Royal Highness expressed his gratitude for Team Bahrain's efforts in providing the best services for the Bahraini pilgrims, and congratulated the pilgrims on their safe return.

Shaikh Adnan bin Abdulla Al Qattan expressed his gratitude for HM the King's commitment to enhancing the pilgrims' experience and ensuring their pilgrimage is completed safely and peacefully. He also expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness's unwavering support for Bahraini pilgrims and ensuring the facilitation of their pilgrimage.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HE Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf and Chairman of the High Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, and a number of senior officials.
