Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, held a meeting with several Ministers to discuss the latest developments in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This meeting focused on addressing the recent hostile Iranian attacks and the measures being taken to ensure national security and stability.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting included key figures such as HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior; HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court; HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy; HE Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture; HE Dr Jalila bint Al Sayyed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health; and HE Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce.
During the discussions, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister was briefed on the current security situation, with a focus on the efforts of defence and security authorities to maintain law and order. He emphasized the importance of ongoing measures under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to safeguard the wellbeing of citizens and residents.
HRH also reviewed the health sector's preparedness, including the operational capacity of medical services, ensuring that all necessary healthcare continues to be available. The stability of local markets was another topic of discussion, with an emphasis on sustaining essential supplies and monitoring supply chains to prevent trade disruptions.
The meeting also covered municipal services and strategies to mitigate the impacts of the current situation, ensuring continuous service delivery across the governorates. HRH stressed the importance of inter-entity cooperation to effectively address developments, reaffirming the commitment to the safety of citizens and residents.
Ministers at the meeting expressed their appreciation for HRH's dedication to maintaining support across sectors. They confirmed their readiness to fulfill their responsibilities, ensuring the security and stability of the Kingdom while meeting the needs of its people.
