HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister Appoints New Directors at Ministry of Interior

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has issued Edict (28) of 2025, appointing new directors within the Ministry of Interior. This decision follows a proposal by the Minister of Interior and aims to fill vacant posts with qualified personnel.

According to Bahrain News Agency, eight officers have been named in the edict. The appointees are Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Jassim Hassan Al Tamimi, Lieutenant Colonel Hamad Khalil Ebrahim Al Jassim, Lieutenant Colonel Isa Abdulla Hamad Al Khalifa, Lieutenant Colonel Ismaeel Naji Mohammed Al Ameen, Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Khaled Salem Al Absi, Major Hassan Khalid Abdulla Al Manaseer, Major Nasser Khalifa Ahmed Al Fadhala, and Major Yousif Mohammed Hassan Abdulrahman. These officers are expected to take on significant roles within the ministry.

The Minister of Interior is tasked with assigning these directors to suitable departments. The placements will consider the specific functions and responsibilities of each department, as well as the qualifications and experience of each appointee. This strategic assignment is intended to optimize the operations within the Ministry of Interior.

The provisions of the edict are to be implemented by the Minister of Interior and will come into effect the day after its publication in the Official Gazette. This move is part of the ongoing efforts to enhance leadership within the ministry.
