Manama: Under the leadership of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court and Chairman of the High Committee of The Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club, the Club has announced an extension of its partnership with Howden, which will continue as a platinum sponsor of the Bahrain Turf Series for the next three seasons.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the renewed agreement was signed by Yusuf Buheji, CEO of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club, and Adam Knights, CEO of Howden Bahrain. Yusuf Buheji highlighted the partnership with Howden, noting its key role in the Bahrain Turf Series since its launch. He said the renewed commitment reflects confidence in Bahrain's racing product and its international appeal, adding that the focus remains on long-term collaborations to expand the sport locally and globally, while thanking Howden for its support.
Howden's extension of the Bahrain Turf Series sponsorship underscores its commitment to the global equine market and strengthens its connection to horse racing. Howden is an established insurance broker for the racing industry, with a market-leading equine division that provides solutions to equestrian associations, racecourses, racehorse trainers, stud farms and bloodstock, riding schools, livery yards, and horse owners.
Adam Knights, CEO of Howden Bahrain, underlined the significant growth of the Bahrain Turf Series over the past four years, noting its establishment as a recognised event on the international calendar. He confirmed that Howden would extend its partnership for a further three seasons, reflecting the company's commitment to long-term investment in sport and community, and expressed confidence in the continued success of the Series in collaboration with the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club.
