Manama: Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, received Yousef Mohammad Bozboun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Society for Tolerance and Coexistence of Religions (Ta'ayush), along with board members, who presented her with a copy of the book "In the Hospitality of the King of Peace." The publication documents the efforts of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in promoting interfaith tolerance, dialogue, and coexistence.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Al Rumaihi emphasized Bahrain's civilisational approach under the leadership of HM the King and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which has positioned the Kingdom as a model of peace and coexistence. She commended the association's role in fostering a culture of peace, dialogue, and mutual respect, and in highlighting Bahrain's progressive image globally.
The meeting also reviewed the association's key initiatives aimed at promoting cultural and religious diversity and encouraging constructive dialogue. Bozboun expressed his gratitude to the Minister for her support, noting the association's commitment to advancing Bahrain's role as a beacon of tolerance.
The book also chronicles historic visits to Bahrain by His Eminence Professor Dr. Ahmed Al Tayyeb, Grand Imam of Al Azhar, and His Holiness Pope Francis, further underscoring the Kingdom's contributions to global religious harmony.
