Manama: Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning and Chairperson of Eskan Bank Board of Directors, commended the Baity real estate platform for receiving the "Best Digital Initiative in Retail Banking" award at the BAB Digital Transformation Awards. She noted that the award reflects significant advancements in government digital services and efforts to support digital transformation. According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister said that the platform has gained increasing popularity due to its diverse property options that align with housing finance schemes such as Tas'heel and the newly introduced Mazaya category. These include housing units, plots, and apartments across Bahrain's governorates. Al Rumaihi mentioned that Baity offers flexibility to browse property details, sizes, and prices, while interactive features assist citizens in selecting, reserving, and completing property purchases through ministry financing directly on the platform. She emphasised the government's con tinued efforts to implement digital transformation plans under the Government Programme (2023-2026), which aims to fully digitise government services and transactions. Abdulla Talib, General Manager of Eskan Bank, commended the team's efforts in securing the award, describing it as an achievement that drives further innovation and commitment to providing housing solutions for Bahraini citizens. He praised the partnership with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning in advancing the bank's objectives.
