Housing Minister Engages in Talks with Egyptian Real Estate Investment Board Member

Manama: Amna bint Ahmed Al Romaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, held a meeting with Abeer Essam El Din Refaat, a Board Member of the Real Estate Investment Division at the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and the Egyptian Federation of Investors Associations.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and identifying new investment opportunities within the real estate and housing sectors. Minister Al Romaihi emphasized the enduring relationship between Bahrain and Egypt and the mutual dedication to improving collaboration across multiple fields. She stressed the ministry's intention to convert the outcomes of ongoing visits into actionable initiatives that bolster housing policy development in both nations.

The meeting also tackled the exchange of expertise in real estate development and the significance of fostering regional partnerships to enrich the property market with varied experience. The minister detailed Bahrain's updated housing finance framework and collaborative programs with the private sector.

Refaat praised Bahrain's progressive approach to housing sector management, highlighting the ministry's initiatives that integrate property developers into national development strategies. She expressed a desire to enhance communication to facilitate the sharing of technical and engineering know-how in modern real estate development.
