Housing Minister Announces Second Phase of Madinat Salman Project

Manama: Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, announced the launch of the second phase of the Advanced Generation Residential Buildings Project in Madinat Salman, which will provide 432 ownership apartments. This follows the completion of the first phase that delivered 1,382 units.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister affirmed that the ministry continues to implement housing projects in line with the Government Programme (2023-2026). This initiative is supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and directed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, with a focus on expanding housing options and accelerating delivery.

The minister stated that construction work has already commenced, with 72% of the foundations completed, utilizing modern building technologies. The new designs are based on contemporary models from the previous phase and include additional amenities such as commercial services, parking, and green spaces.

Al Rumaihi highlighted that the project incorporates sustainability standards through systems that are energy- and water-efficient. It also uses eco-friendly materials and features modern Bahraini architectural fa§ades. Furthermore, feedback from beneficiaries has been integrated into the new designs to better meet family needs.

She confirmed that the project is progressing on schedule, ensuring the timely allocation of apartments to citizens.
