Manama: In the presence of Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, the Holy Quran Recitation and Teachers Preparation Institute held a graduation ceremony for the second cohort of the Quran Teacher Diploma programme at the Isa Cultural Centre. A total of 59 students graduated, including 45 females and 14 males.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed expressed gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his continuous support to the Institute and its programmes. He also commended the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their steadfast support.
Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed highlighted the importance of this programme, launched under HM the King's vision a decade ago, which has positioned the institute as a specialised centre for Quranic studies and teacher preparation.
The ceremony featured Quran recitation, speeches, a documentary film, and concluded with Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed presenting certificates to the graduates. Of the 59 graduates, 12 earned "High Distinction," 23 "Distinction," and 24 graduated with other grades.
