Manama: Under the patronage of Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA), the Holy Quran Recitation and Teachers Preparation Institute, which is affiliated with SCIA, is set to hold the graduation ceremony for the second cohort of its Qur'an Teacher Diploma programme at the Isa Cultural Centre.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the initiative aims to train qualified teachers in Qur'an instruction and its sciences. The program equips participants with both academic and pedagogical skills necessary for service in Qur'anic centres and study circles. It also focuses on integrating modern learning technologies, instilling Islamic values and ethics, and providing graduates with the tools to promote awareness, uphold moderate Islamic principles, and respond to contemporary academic and technological developments.
