His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa held a phone call with National Jiu Jitsu Team athlete Ali Munfaridi who bagged the gold medal in the World Championship, organized by the International Jiu Jitsu Federation (JJIF) in Abu Dhabi, the UAE.
HM the King congratulated champion Munfaridi on this honourable world accomplishment which adds to Bahrain’s record of achievements in this sport and other games.
HM the King praised Mufaridi for the effort he had exerted in the championship, outclassing all contenders taking part in the world contest, to win the gold medal and honour his country in this international sports arena.
During the phone call, HM the King lauded Bahrain youth’s potential and ability to compete, win and book a berth on the podiums in different sports.
Munfaridi expressed deepest thanks and gratitude to HM the King,valuing the unwavering royal support to all athletes. He vowed to continue honouring the Kingdom of Bahrain in the coming competitions.
