Council of Representatives member Mp. Mohammed Al Sisi Al Bouainain paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, hailing the issuance of Decree-Law 24/2021, amending Article (13) of Law 18/2017 on penalties and alternative measures.
Al Sisi, Chair of the Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security Committee, said that the decree law reflects the essence of the state of law and institutions and HM the King’s humanitarian approach aimed to achieve the goals of human rights and dignity in the prosperous era of HM the King.
He reiterated continued cooperation between the Council of Representatives and the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to further human rights and the rule of the law and promote development.
