Rome: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a written message to His Holiness Pope Francis, delivered by Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi, Public Affairs Minister at the Royal Court, at the Vatican. The message focused on strengthening the close relations between Bahrain and the Vatican, including collaboration between the King Hamad Digital Library and the Vatican Apostolic Library. According to Bahrain News Agency, the Vatican Apostolic Library, established in the 15th century, houses manuscripts and books in various languages, including Arabic works on medicine, astronomy, mathematics, and literature. This collaboration aims at enhancing the cultural and academic exchanges between the two entities, leveraging the rich historical and scholarly resources of the Vatican Apostolic Library.
