Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has sent a written message to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, extending an invitation to participate in the 46th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit. The summit is set to be hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain in December.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the message was received by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, who serves as the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar. The message was delivered by Mohammed bin Ali Al Ghatam, the Ambassador of Bahrain to Qatar. During the meeting, the ambassador conveyed His Majesty's greetings and best wishes to HH the Amir and expressed hopes for continued progress and prosperity for the people of Qatar.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani requested the ambassador to return his greetings and appreciation to His Majesty the King. He also extended his best wishes for the Kingdom of Bahrain's ongoing development and prosperity.
