Manama: Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al Khalifa, the Capital Governor, and Fahad Mohammed Salem bin Kardous Al Ameri, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Bahrain, participated in the launch of the "Al-Bawanesh" traditional boats event at Bahrain Bay. This event marks the celebration of the 54th UAE National Day and is part of a series of activities organized by the UAE Embassy to commemorate the occasion.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Khaled bin Humood highlighted the exemplary relationship between Bahrain and the UAE, emphasizing their deep-rooted ties established on a foundation of cooperation and shared values. He acknowledged the ongoing support from both nations' leaders, which plays a crucial role in enhancing coordination and partnership in numerous areas.
Shaikh Khaled further reiterated Bahrain's commitment, both from its leadership and citizens, to join the UAE in celebrating December 2, showcasing the robust bonds between the two countries. He praised the UAE's developmental accomplishments, noting how they have boosted its regional and international stature and exemplified a dedication to innovation and leadership.
Ambassador Al Ameri stated that the "Al Bawanesh" event is a testament to the historic ties between Bahrain and the UAE, celebrating their shared cultural heritage and maritime traditions.
