Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has issued Decree (54) of 2025, which involves the restructuring of the Board of Directors of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA). This restructuring follows a proposal from the Prime Minister and subsequent approval by the Cabinet.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the newly structured Board will be chaired by the Minister of Labour. The appointed members are Sahar Rashid Abdulrahman Al Mannai, Fatima Abdulghani Ismail, Adnan Abdulwahab Ishaq, Brigadier Abdulaziz Abdulrahman Al Doseri, Mohammed Abduljabbar Mahmood Al Kooheji, Sonia Mohammed Janahi, Yousif Ahmed Hassan Ahmed, and Alaa Hassan Abdulrahman.
The membership term on the Board is set for four years, with the possibility of renewal. The decree requires the Prime Minister and the Minister of Labour to implement its provisions. The decree will be effective upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
