His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at his residence here today UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum.
HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, Chairman of the General Authority for Sports and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, were present.
HM the King welcomed the UAE Vice-President, and expressed thanks and appreciation to him for his kind visit, wishing him abundant health, happiness and continued success.
HM King Hamad and HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid exchanged cordial talks on the long-standing bilateral relations, as well as ways to strengthen them further for the best interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples.
HM the King lauded the specific nature of the deep-rooted ties between the two brotherly countries, which are role model to be emulated in relations between countries that share fraternity bonds, unified visions and stances, as well as common destiny.
HM King Hamad congratulated HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid for his continuous landmark achievements, including the hosting of the Expo 2020 Dubai which achieved outstanding success and witnessed massive international participation.
HM the King also praised HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s leading role and tremendous efforts in building modern Dubai and the progress boom it is witnessing across various fields, as well as the distinguished international status it enjoys, which makes it a source of pride for the entire Arab nation.
HM King Hamad wished the UAE and its brotherly people ever-lasting progress and prosperity, under its leadership.
