Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a telephone call from His Excellency Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HE Prime Minister Barzani expressed full solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain and condemned the Iranian attack targeting the Kingdom's territory. He affirmed support for Bahrain in all measures and steps undertaken to safeguard its sovereignty and protect its security and stability.
His Majesty the King noted that the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain are peaceful and believe in tolerance and coexistence. He emphasized that the Kingdom remains committed to the path of peace and supports all efforts that enhance security and stability in the region and the world.
His Majesty the King expressed appreciation to HE Masrour Barzani for the support expressed towards the Kingdom of Bahrain.
