Dubai Humanitarian Confirms Full Operational Readiness to Support Global Emergency Response Efforts

Dubai: Dubai Humanitarian, with the support of key stakeholders and strategic partners across the United Arab Emirates, confirmed its full readiness to scale its humanitarian operations in response to requests from international organisations amid evolving global crises and emergencies.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dubai Humanitarian reaffirmed its commitment to serving vulnerable and affected communities worldwide and to supporting the global humanitarian community as a fully operational hub facilitating the delivery of lifesaving aid to affected areas.

The statement noted that Dubai Humanitarian hosts more than 80 nonprofit international humanitarian organisations and United Nations agencies, making it a reliable platform to coordinate essential relief shipments and ensure assistance reaches affected populations efficiently and safely, supported by close cooperation with government entities in the United Arab Emirates to facilitate logistics and regulatory procedures.

Over the past two decades, Dubai Humanitarian has grown to become the largest humanitarian hub in the world, with data from its Humanitarian Logistics Databank demonstrating its ability to respond to natural disasters, climate change impacts, and conflicts.

The hub's warehouses currently host humanitarian supplies valued at approximately US$200 million, including medicines, medical supplies, shelter materials, and emergency food. These items are prepositioned by international organisations to support operations in more than 100 countries annually, which enhances the speed of international emergency response.
