Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a written letter from Professor Dr. Mohammed Obaid Al Kubaisi, Secretary-General of the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Prof. Dr. Al Kubaisi expressed solidarity on behalf of the Association with the leadership, government, and people of the Kingdom of Bahrain regarding the blatant Iranian attacks, and the resulting damages affecting the Kingdom's sovereignty, security, and stability.
The letter expressed strong condemnation of all forms of aggression that violate international laws and norms, emphasizing that targeting states or interfering in their internal affairs represents unacceptable behavior that undermines the foundations of regional and international peace and increases tension in a region already suffering from accumulated challenges.
Prof. Dr. Al Kubaisi affirmed full support for the Kingdom of Bahrain's right to protect its sovereignty and security under the principles of international law, confirming the Association's support during these critical circumstances. He reaffirmed the importance of unity and enhanced cooperation to address current challenges and safeguard regional security and stability, expressing his best wishes for the continued safety and security of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people.
