Manama: The General Directorate of Civil Defence has successfully concluded a specialised training programme for volunteers. This programme saw the active participation of more than 54 volunteers who joined through the National Volunteering Platform, and it was conducted in the presence of the Director-General of Civil Defence.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the training programme incorporated advanced modules that included first aid, handling hazardous materials, public safety concepts, emergency evacuation procedures, and firefighting skills. The programme was designed to provide a comprehensive combination of theoretical and practical components aimed at enhancing the overall preparedness of volunteers.
The primary goal of the programme was to improve the efficiency of the volunteers and equip them with essential skills to handle emergency situations effectively. This initiative is a part of the broader efforts to support public safety, ensuring the protection of lives and property across the region.
