Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received the credentials of four newly appointed ambassadors to the Kingdom during a ceremony held at Sakhir Palace.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the ambassadors are Shereen Shanika Dissanayake of Sri Lanka, Aref Yousuf Hosain Saleh of Palestine, Henning Georg Simon of Germany, and Shmuel Revel of Israel. His Majesty welcomed the ambassadors and emphasized the strong relations between Bahrain and their respective countries. He expressed his wishes for their success in their diplomatic missions to enhance relations and cooperation with Bahrain.
The ambassadors conveyed the greetings and wishes of their heads of state to His Majesty the King, expressing appreciation for the relations their countries have with Bahrain across all sectors. They expressed hopes for further progress and prosperity for Bahrain and its people.
Attending the ceremony were His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani, and Major General Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Fadhala. The ambassadors had earlier arrived at Sakhir Palace, where they were received by the Chief of Royal Protocol, and the customary ceremonies were held.
