Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,970.96 points, marking a decrease of 0.21 points below the previous closing. This minor decrease was attributed to declines in the financial and material sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index has also seen a decrease, closing at 940.05 points, which is 0.52 points below its previous closing. The results indicated that 91 equity transactions took place with a trading volume of 3,999,147, amounting to BD 797,589 in value.
Investors predominantly focused on the financial sector, which represented 91.48% of the total value of securities traded.
