HM King Receives Chairman and Board Members of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received Sameer Abdulla Nass, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), along with several board members, at Al Safriya Palace. The meeting was attended by key figures, including His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty the King commended the role of the BCCI in advancing the Kingdom's commercial and industrial sectors. He acknowledged the Chamber as an essential partner in Bahrain's ongoing prosperity and development. During the meeting, HM King Hamad congratulated the BCCI on its founding anniversary, highlighting its establishment as the first chamber of commerce in the Gulf back in 1910 under the reign of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa.

His Majesty praised the contributions of both current and past leaders of the Chamber, wishing them success in further enhancing the commercial sector's growth. He acknowledged the efforts of Bahraini traders and businessmen in driving economic progress and contributing significantly to the Kingdom's economic and commercial landscape.

HM the King emphasized the Chamber's importance in representing the private sector, expressing support for its historical role and efforts in maintaining its position. His Majesty further reiterated his support for the business community and the BCCI's initiatives to bolster its contribution to economic development plans and the business sector's expansion.

Sameer Abdulla Nass, on behalf of the BCCI, expressed gratitude for HM the King's continued support and encouragement. He shared details of the Chamber's key programmes and activities, both locally and internationally, aimed at fostering economic growth.
