Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Sakhir Palace today Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa who introduced to him the military equestrian showjumping team who won first place in the 22nd Military World Showjumping Championship held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in October.
HM the King congratulated the military team, lauding their historical achievement which was added to the BDF track-record of accomplishments in the military sport field. He also praised the honorable results brought about by the BDF teams in various sports, commending the care and support accorded by the General Command and wishing the military equestrian team and all sportspeople every success in upcoming competitions.
