His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa lauded the pivotal role of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) in invigorating the commercial and industrial sector, describing it as an active partner in the kingdom’s development process.
HM the King was speaking as he received at Safriya Palace today BCCI new Board of Directors chaired by Samir Abdullah Nass. He congratulated them on their election and on winning the confidence of the industrial and commercial sector, wishing them every success.
HM the King pointed out Bahrain’s success in achieving economic recovery thanks to synergized efforts, praising the role of BCCI in this respect. He also commended the government’s achievements in preparing and implementing the economic recovery plans, stressing the role of the legislative branch in this regard and keenness of all on achieving comprehensive economic growth.
HM pointed out the importance of adhering to religious teachings and customs in the Gulf community to achieve economic stability and growth. He praised the efforts of Bahraini traders and businessmen in supporting the investment opportunities and launching many projects which contributed to boosting the kingdom’s standing at the regional and international level. He also commended the glorious history of BCCI and its contributions to national work.
BCCI Board Chairman expressed on behalf of the board members and the business community utmost thanks and gratitude to HM the King for his valuable directives to achieve sustainable economic growth and promote the role of the private sector in this respect. He stressed the chamber’s keenness on achieving the aspirations of HM the King and enhancing the role of the private sector in economic development, in line with the kingdom’s Economic Vision 2030.
