Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has ratified and issued Law (4) of 2025, which repeals Article (28) of Decree-Law (18) of 1997 regarding the practice of pharmacists and pharmaceutical centres. This legislative change follows approval from both the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the repeal of Article (28) marks a significant update to the legal framework governing pharmaceutical practices in the region. The new law mandates that the Prime Minister and relevant ministers are responsible for implementing its provisions. The law is set to take effect the day after its publication in the Official Gazette, signaling an immediate change in the regulatory landscape for pharmacists and pharmaceutical centres.
