Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has ratified and issued Law (11) of 2026, which amends several provisions of the Unified System for the Extension of Insurance Protection for GCC citizens working in member states other than their own. This comes after the law received approval from the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Prime Minister and the Ministers are tasked with the implementation of the provisions of this law, each within their respective capacities. The law is set to come into effect the day after its publication in the Official Gazette.
