Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa ratified and issued Law (9) of 2026, amending certain provisions of Decree-Law (20) of 2002 concerning the regulation of fishing, utilization, and protection of marine resources. This legislative action follows the approval of the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Prime Minister and the Ministers, each in their respective capacities, are tasked with implementing the provisions of this newly ratified law. The law is set to come into force on the day following its publication in the Official Gazette.
