Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has ratified and issued Law (31) of 2026, which amends certain provisions of the Civil and Commercial Execution Law initially promulgated by Decree-Law (22) of 2021. This legislative action follows its approval by both the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Prime Minister and relevant ministers are tasked with implementing the provisions of the new law. The law is set to come into effect six months after it is published in the Official Gazette. This timeline allows for the necessary administrative and procedural adjustments to be made in preparation for the law's enforcement.
