HM King issues royal order, re-appointing SCW Secretary-General

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today issued Royal Order (39) of 2022, re-appointing Hala Mohammed Al-Ansari as Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) for a three-year term, with the rank of minister, as stipulated in the Royal Order regarding the Council’s establishment and its amendments.

According to Royal Order (36) of 2004 amending some provisions of Article (7) of Amiri Order (55) 2001, the Supreme Council for Women shall have a Secretariat General chaired by a Secretary-General with the rank of minister.

The Secretariat General shall collaborate with the Council in performing its duties. It shall provide suggestions regarding the implementation of the council’s responsibilities, achieve its goals, set related plans and programs and notify concerned parties of the council’s decisions and recommendations.
