Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has issued Royal Decree (71) of 2025, which renews the appointment of the Governor of the Southern Governorate. This decision follows the proposal of the Minister of Interior and the subsequent approval of the Cabinet.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the decree renews the appointment of His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa as the Governor of the Southern Governorate for a four-year term. The Minister of Interior is tasked with implementing the provisions of this decree. The decree is effective from the date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
