HM King Issues Decree on Appointment of General Directors at Civil Service Bureau

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree (26) of 2026, appointing several general directors at the Civil Service Bureau. This decision was made based on the proposal of the Prime Minister and after receiving approval from the Cabinet.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the decree outlines specific appointments for the roles within the Civil Service Bureau. Article One appoints Shaikh Muath bin Duaij bin Abdullah Al Khalifa as Director-General of Organisation and Workforce Planning, succeeding his previous role as Director-General of Organisation and Position Budget. Article Two appoints Shaikha Rana bint Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa as Director-General of Institutional Efficiency, transitioning from her former position as Director-General of Human Resources Development and Performance Management.

Article Three of the decree specifies that Ali Yousif Ali Al Hammadi will take on the role of Director-General of Human Resources Affairs, moving from his previous position as Director-General of Recruitment and Information. Meanwhile, Article Four assigns Mohammed Salman Mohsen Al Aradi as Director-General of Institutional Services, succeeding his role as Director-General of Shared Human Resources Services.

Furthermore, Article Five appoints Reem Hassan Hameed Marhoon as Director-General of Strategies and Policies, following her previous position as Director-General of Policies and Wages. Article Six appoints Abdulrahman Abdullah Abdulaziz Al Shomali as Director-General of Shared Human Resources Services, advancing from his role as Director of Policy and Regulatory Directorate.

The Prime Minister is tasked with implementing the decree, which is effective from the date of issuance and will be documented in the Official Gazette.
