HM King Hamad to Attend GCC-US Summit in Saudi Arabia

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa will depart for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this evening, the Royal Court has announced. His Majesty the King will lead the delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the GCC-US Summit in Riyadh, at the invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the summit will bring together leaders from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the United States to discuss regional and international issues of mutual interest. The gathering aims to strengthen ties and cooperation between the GCC states and the US.

The participation of His Majesty King Hamad underscores the importance of the summit in addressing key challenges and fostering collaboration among the participating nations. The discussions are expected to focus on areas such as security, economic development, and political stability in the region.
