Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has ratified and issued Law (21) of 2025, which amends certain provisions of the Restorative Justice Law for Children and Their Protection from Maltreatment. This follows the approval of the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the amendments to the law aim to expand judicial options for alternative measures. Furthermore, the authority of the Child Protection Centre is enhanced, allowing it to monitor, support, and regularly assess the rehabilitation progress of juveniles under the law.
