Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,062.26 points, marking a decrease of 2.56 points below the previous closing. This downturn was primarily driven by declines in the financial and material sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw a decrease, closing at 1,020.51 points, which is 1.50 points lower than its previous closing. The trading session recorded 92 equity transactions with a total volume of 1,388,503 shares, amounting to BD 549,849 in value.
Investors predominantly focused on the financial sector, which accounted for 60.65% of the total value of securities traded.
