His Majesty expressed pride in the longstanding ties and historical relations between Bahrain and Jordan, emphasizing their ongoing development fostered by a shared commitment to enhance cooperation for mutual interests.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Safadi conveyed the greetings and gratitude of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan, wishing for Bahrain's continued progress and prosperity. In return, His Majesty King Hamad extended greetings and sincere wishes to King Abdullah II and the Jordanian people for continued growth and success.
His Majesty King Hamad highlighted the significance of such visits in bolstering coordination and consultation between the two countries amid ongoing regional developments. He expressed appreciation for King Abdullah II's efforts in advancing Bahrain-Jordan relations and commended Jordan's role in promoting joint Arab action and supporting peace, security, and stability in the region.
The meeting also addressed regional and international developments of mutual interest, particularly focusing on the Middle East situation, with both parties exchanging views on these matters.
