Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree (102) of 2024, amending Article I of Decree (95) of 2019, regarding the reorganisation of the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications. The amendment was proposed by the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications and received approval from the Cabinet. According to Bahrain News Agency, the decree specifies changes to the text of item (A) of paragraph (2) of section (Sixth) of Article I of Decree (95) of 2019. The revised text now includes the Maritime Safety Directorate as a part of the ministry's reorganisation. The Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications is tasked with implementing this decree. The decree is effective immediately from the date of its issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
