Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has issued Decree (70) of 2025, concerning a significant ministerial reorganisation prompted by a proposal from the Prime Minister.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Article (I) of the decree states that Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, the current Minister of Labour, will be referred to retirement. This change marks a notable shift in the country’s ministerial lineup.
Article (II) of the decree further outlines that Yousif bin Abdulhussain Khalaf will take over as Minister of Labour and Minister of Legal Affairs. This dual appointment is part of the broader reorganisation strategy.
Article (III) mandates the Prime Minister to implement the decree’s provisions. The decree is effective immediately from the time of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
