HM King Hamad and HRH Prince Faisal bin Salman Discuss Bilateral Relations at Al Safriya Palace

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at the Al Safriya Palace. Prince Faisal, who serves as the Special Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, also chairs the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) and the Board of Trustees of the King Fahd National Library.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH Prince Faisal bin Salman conveyed greetings from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia. They extended their wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people.

In response, HM the King sent his greetings and best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, wishing them good health and wellbeing, along with further prosperity for the Saudi people.

HM the King emphasized the pride he takes in the historical and deep-rooted relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. He noted the mutual commitment to strengthening these ties for the benefit of both peoples, particularly highlighting the progress in cooperation, coordination, and joint action across cultural, scientific, and knowledge sectors.

The King praised the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his dedication to fortifying Bahraini-Saudi relations and acknowledged Saudi Arabia's historic support for Bahrain, as well as its leading role in promoting joint Gulf and Arab initiatives.

HRH Prince Faisal bin Salman expressed his appreciation to HM the King for the warm welcome and hospitality, and for the efforts to strengthen the ties between the two nations and their peoples.
