Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency Sir Patrick Linton Allen, Governor-General of Jamaica, on his country's Independence Day.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the cable was sent in recognition of the significant occasion marking Jamaica's strides and achievements since gaining independence. His Majesty expressed his best wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of Jamaica and its people.
