Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, has extended deepest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on being awarded the “Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Necklace– First Class” by the Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organisation (ARCO), in recognition of his efforts to support humanitarian work at all levels.
Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim asserted that the top honour embodies the distinguished status enjoyed by HM the King as an inspiring leader of humanitarian work, who always seeks to promote noble humanitarian and peaceful principles across the entire world.
The prestigious award also reflects Bahrain’s leading global position in the field of humanitarian work, noting that the landmark achievements and activities of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation and the Bahrain Red Crescent Society embody HM the King’s belief in the values of goodness and solidarity with all countries and peoples, he said.
