Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a congratulatory cable from President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, on being awarded an honorary doctorate by the Board of Trustees of the Moscow State University for International Relations in recognition of his noble role in promoting peaceful co-existence and dialogue among various religions and cultures.
The President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs praised the decision as an assertion of HM the King’s pioneering role and initiatives to foster peaceful coexistence and dialogue between religions and cultures.
