His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable from Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
The minister expressed thanks and gratitude for His Majesty’s speech and directives in opening the fourth session of the Fifth Legislative Term of the Shura and Representatives Councils
General Shaikh Rashid valued His Majesty’s attention and close follow-up to the interests of the kingdom and its people and efforts towards achieving the noble objectives of stability, safety, decent life for Bahraini people and developing the democratic process.
The minister affirmed that the ministry has begun implementing HM’s directives in working on reform centers and open prisons according to international human rights standards and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights protocols, to ensure justice and reintegration of the beneficiaries of the program into society and strengthen community cohesion.
