Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, on Bahraini Women's Day. The minister highlighted that this occasion represents a milestone in Bahrain's history and an opportunity to reflect on the continued pioneering achievements of Bahraini women. According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister emphasized the prominent contributions of Bahraini women and their distinguished presence in various sectors both regionally and internationally. This progress has been achieved under the leadership of HM King Hamad, and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The minister also commended the role of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), under the leadership of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of SCW. He praised the commitment of Princess Sabeeka bint I brahim to advancing the role of Bahraini women, ensuring their progress, and enhancing their status and empowerment, which has enabled them to contribute effectively to Bahrain's development across all sectors.
