Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on being awarded the “Abu Bakr Al Siddique Medal– First Class” by the Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organisation (ARCO) in recognition of his great humanitarian efforts.
The minister said that the medal bestowed on HM the King reflects his humanitarian role in the local and international arenas and keenness on cultivating noble values and the principles of peace and tolerance.
He lauded HM the King’s royal directives to extend all relief aid in support of countries which are facing crises and other humanitarian emergencies.
He valued the efforts of the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister to implement HM the King’s aspirations.
He commended the role of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, led by HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
