Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister, on Bahraini Women's Day. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasised that this occasion reflects the values of justice and equality that HM the King has firmly established in Bahraini society since assuming leadership. According to Bahrain News Agency, the Deputy Prime Minister commended HM the King's vision, which has consistently been the foundation for empowering Bahraini women and positioning them as active partners in the Kingdom's progress and development. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah noted that this has been achieved through HM the King's comprehensive development process, supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The Deputy Prime Minister also commended the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), led by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King, for its contributions over the years in making Bahrain a model for valuing women and providing them with opportunities to participate in building the nation's present and shaping its bright future.
